First Snow

Last night came the first snowfall. A late October snowfall isn't totally out of the question; I can remember being mad as a child because I had to wear my winter coat and boots with my Halloween costume and no one could see my Superman S. Eventually we had to compromise by my mom attaching the red cape to my coat with safety pins. Even so, as an 8 year old it's hard to pretend you're Superman when you're wearing a Green Bay Packers bomber jacket with blue mittens, a green scarf and black snowboots. That's not what Halloween is about.

I'm not ready for it to snow. It isn't connecting, so at least I didn't wake up to a sea of white as I looked out the windows, but it's still white and it's still falling from the sky and I'm still not happy about it.

Oh, for it to be Summer again, when a young guy can just let it all hang out in the great outdoors, maybe lounge around with a good book? And maybe use that book to cover up his junk so that when I do my sporadic posts of the books I've read with naked guys I can still pretend to be safe for work.

It'd be much harder to ogle these guys if they were wearing sweaters, scarves, coats, winter boots, and hats. And really, ogling guys is what it's all about.
Here lies a most ridiculous raw youth, indulging himself in the literary graces that he once vowed to eschew. Now he just rocks out.
