The Boys Do the Boogie-Woogie On the Corner of the Street

It was the boyfriend's birthday the other day. The big two-nine, on death's door, officially super-old, 365 days away from gay death. Our celebration culminated with karaoke at the local gay bar. I sang some Dolly and John Mellencamp, and he sang Sweet Transvestite and Total Eclipse of the Heart.

We can be so gay sometimes. Not always, but sometimes.
Here lies a most ridiculous raw youth, indulging himself in the literary graces that he once vowed to eschew. Now he just rocks out.
